The flying schools community is a place for educational futurists to tall stories about the bright and dark futures of public education. The idea here is to follow out what we’re doing – or what we could be doing – and to predict how the ways we choose (or might choose) to school children will shape our collective future and individual lives.
The work grows out of interest in the post-civilization Dark Mountain Project and the ambiguity of open and closed practices in teaching and learning inside today’s schools.
